Privacy Policy

This site has no accounts, no logins, and no comment system. There is very little to collect and we do not want more than we need.

What we collect

  • Analytics. Aggregate visit data: pages viewed, approximate country, referring site, device and browser type. This is used to understand which pages are useful.
  • Server logs. Standard request data including IP address, retained briefly for security and abuse prevention.
  • Email you send us. If you write to us, we keep the message so we can reply.

We do not collect names, addresses, payment details, or account credentials, because there is nothing on this site that would require them.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell or rent personal data.
  • We do not build advertising profiles of individual visitors.
  • We do not use tracking pixels from social networks.

Cookies

The site itself does not require cookies to function. Analytics may set a cookie or use similar storage to avoid counting the same visit twice. You can block cookies in your browser settings without breaking anything on this site.

Who else sees this data

We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-K04LD97151) to count visits and see which pages are useful. It records approximate location, device and browser type, referring site, and the pages viewed. It does not receive your name, email address, or anything you type. Google processes this under its own terms; you can read them at policies.google.com/privacy.

If you would rather not be counted, Google publishes an opt-out browser add-on, and any content blocker or the “Do Not Track” setting in your browser will also stop it. Nothing on this site breaks if you block it.

Our hosting provider necessarily processes request data in order to serve pages. Beyond that and Google Analytics, no third party receives anything. We have no advertising and no affiliate links at present; if that changes, this page will name the parties involved before they are added, not after.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data we hold about you, and to object to processing. Because we hold almost nothing tied to an identity, most requests are quick to resolve. Write to [email protected].

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
