We are not the “official” 123Movies and no such thing exists. The original operation ended in March 2018 and nobody inherited it. We chose a domain containing the name because that is the term people search for; it does not imply any relationship with the defunct service or with any site currently using its name.
How we handle facts
- Every guide carries a visible publication date and a last-updated date. The dates are real; they change when the content changes.
- Claims about enforcement actions, shutdowns, and service closures are sourced to public reporting or to the primary announcement, and named in the text.
- Availability of streaming services changes often and varies by country. Where we list services, we say what we checked and when.
- We do not publish user reviews or testimonials. If we ever do, they will be real and attributed.
